Critical April 2026 Update: AHPRA has revised how test section performance is evaluated for all exams taken on or after April 23, 2026. While IELTS standards remain at a straight 7.0 (with a minimum 6.5 in writing), the PTE Academic has shifted to a hybrid scoring baseline requiring an overall score of 63, but with strict individual minimums: Speaking (76), Writing (60), Reading (59), and Listening (58).
